Our regular efforts to clean up parts of our area

Your Willenhall Conservative team regularly conducts litter picks across our parks and greenspaces. In addition, we regularly report fly-tipping, abandoned vehicles, streets in need of maintenance, overgrown trees and bushes, and anything else which impacts our area.

Action on Nottingham Drive

We took ownership of the land around the shops recently, and whilst it has now been improved with a new car park and road surfacing, we have had repeated fly-tipping take place. Despite enforcement investigations last year and warnings, this was still taking place.

Litter pick on Short Heath Park

Councillor Adam Hicken today did a litter pick on Short Heath Park after complaints by local residents regarding the litter that had built up here. As well as picking up litter, Adam also reported broken glass and some graffiti that needed cleaning up.

Tidy up at Clay Hill

This morning Councillor Adam Hicken had a couple of spare hours and decided to help clean up parts of Clay Hill on the Allens Rough.

Car crushed after fly-tipping

As part of our ongoing campaign to come down heavily on fly-tippers across the borough, Walsall Council crushed a vehicle used in recent fly-tipping. Walsall Council Leader, Councillor Mike Bird had some very strong words for fly-tippers in Walsall, as the authority cracks down on illegal dumpers.&

Newly-elected Conservative Councillor Stacie Elson has begun her role by inspecting roads, fields and pathways across the New Invention area. Beginning near The Square, Stacie reported problems she spotted all the way to the Coppice Farm estate.
