Adam Hicken was born and grew up in New Invention, attending both the Allens Rough Primary School and Coppice Performing Arts School (Coppice High School). He lives locally and has campaigned for the restoration of Remembrance Day parades, enforcement action against those who fly-tipping and litter, additional funding for the repair of roads and pavements, and extra investment into our local parks and green spaces through schemes such as planting projects.
Adam Hicken is a dedicated councillor representing the Willenhall North ward on the Walsall Council, having been elected on May 7, 2015. He is a member of the Conservative Party and has been actively involved in various initiatives and roles within the council.
Throughout his tenure, Councillor Hicken has also addressed local issues such as fly-tipping, anti-social behavior, and the redevelopment of local infrastructure. His active engagement with residents and commitment to community improvement have been hallmarks of his service.
Councillor Hicken is particularly noted for his roles as Walsall Council's Armed Forces Champion and Climate Change Champion.
