Cathryn Foggin of Formby Way, Bloxwich, has been fined £146 for throwing takeaway waste in New Invention Square. She was caught on Walsall Council CCTV cameras and then prosecuted at Birmingham Magistrates' Court by the council’s Community Protection Team on Wednesday, January 24.
In addition to the fine, Foggin was ordered to pay a surcharge of £58 and council costs of £180, bringing the total cost to £384.
Councillor Adam Hicken said: "We don't tolerate those who litter and fly-tip in our community. Let this be a warning to those who try to dirty our streets".
