Councillor Adam Hicken and Eddie Hughes MP met with Hamish from Aldi today to discuss the plans for the new Aldi store at Coppice Farm.
It promises to bring a host of benefits to local residents. The store will be the fifth largest Aldi store in the country, and will feature large chillers and freezers dedicated to fresh, British meat products, a 'Food to Go' section at the front, and a wide range of Aldi's renowned beers, wines, and spirits. Additionally, the store will offer a variety of health and beauty products, ensuring that shoppers have access to a comprehensive selection of high-quality goods at great prices.
This addition is not only enhancing local retail options but also creating job opportunities and supporting local charities through partnerships with community engagement platforms.
Adam said: "I am really pleased to see Aldi taking advantage of this superb opportunity for a new supermarket. I lobbied Aldi and Lidl after our local Budgens store was placed under threat due to administration. I know that residents cannot wait for Aldi to open its doors in the area".
