The roundabout at the junction of Essington Road and Lichfield Road has now been resurfaced after local Councillor Rob Larden's request to Walsall Council.
As frequent road users in the area will know, the roundabout often gets damaged by the amount of traffic, including HGVs and Buses. The roundabout had been a point of concern for residents and local Councillors alike, with numerous reports of potholes and general wear and tear being made in recent months. Councillor Larden successfully lobbied for the necessity of a safer and smoother road surface.
Rob said: "Thank you to Walsall Council for prioritising this road repair. Along with other road improvements in the area taking place, we are also looking for other issues that require fixing. Please let us know if you spot something using the form on this website".
